Frequently Asked Questions  Is there a charge for a design? Yes, we charge from $150-$500 depending on the size of the design. We will give you an approximate cost of the design during the initial appointment. The design fee is due when the design is presented to you. The design fee will be applied towards your balance if you decide to proceed with the work. A nominal fee will be charged for major revisions. There is a $75 consultation fee for anyone who is seeking advice and does not want to utilize our services. Who will manage our landscape project? Mark Wyman, President, Jerry Hill, Designer, Or Paul Lazenby, Designer, will oversee all landscape projects. We also employ highly skilled landscape forepersons who will be on each job. How long do I have to wait once I have decided to move forward with the work? Most jobs can be scheduled within 4-6 weeks from receipt of deposit. Schedules can be affected by unfavorable weather conditions and unforseen customer changes. Can you explain the payment process? A 30% deposit is required in order to secure a spot in our schedule for your project. The balance of the project is due upon completion of work. We accept cash, check, money order, and major credit cards. If you pay using a credit card you may be subject to a 3% fee as required by the credit card company. How far in advance do I need to schedule a job for the following year? We recommend scheduling work for the following year in the previous year. Many customers sign up in the fall for the next year.
